Ekatherina Valdez was born in San Luis Potosí, Mexico, where she currently resides. She is the mother of two children who keep her active.
She considers herself kind, happy, proactive, creative, and helpful, qualities she brings to her work helping others. She learned English as a second language during her time in Illinois and has experience teaching English with a TESOL certification.
